About
Pat always loved glass, but it was only after her retirement from a career in education and public sector consultancy that she was able to devote herself fully to learning. She took three diploma courses then set up my own studio at home in North London. She continues to learn and develop her skills through masterclasses with glassmakers who she admires
Much of Pat's work relates to the wild countryside and coastlines of North East and South West England. She collects driftwood, stones, shells and other natural materials which she uses as starting points for the form and surface texture of her pieces.
